About the practice

Our loyalty is to the owner.

Giakson is a Sydney-based, family-run practice founded in 1997. From brief to defect liability, the principal you meet at briefing is the principal administering the contract, chairing the PCG, and signing the final certificate.

We are engaged by owners corporations, strata entities, developers, and asset custodians on commercial, class 2 residential, heritage, and remedial works across Sydney and regional NSW. We work in collaboration with the client, and we hold no contractor, trade, or supplier relationships that compromise our independence.

"A small practice by design, using a building pathology led approach grounded in the principles of Building Science and Forensic Engineering." Nicholas Giakoumelos · Founding Principal
